Can you make wwwoffle work without using the interactive control page???

I have been using wwwoffle a long time. Now I have got a new version of linux, 
and wwwoffle will not fetch pages online without me having to put it online 
on the "Interactive Control Page", and to read what I have fetched, I need to 
put wwwoffle offline on the "Interactive Control Page".

Before it always worked automatically, that is it always worked by itself, 
without me having to put it online/offline?

I would like to just have it working automatically???
