selective blocking flashs

With 

  disable-flash  = yes

and

  < *://*/*.swf>  replacement = /local/dontget/replacement-swf.gif
  
  i still get and see a lot of flashs, eg. on

http://www.patents4innovation.org/index.php/eng/news_article/dutch_minister_brinkhorst_computer_programs_are_not_patentable_in_europe/


There's a line
<script type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/flashpopups.js"></script>
so i suspect they load them via javascript. 
How could i try to block them anyway ? 
And nonetheless, there is  some art around for which a kind  of whitelist would be good.
