It could be a little while. I have been busy recently and I haven't
had time to fix all of the bugs and make all the changes that I want
to make for the next version.

It would be quite slow, the parsing of HTML is not simple and every
web page needs to go through the process so it would slow things
down. If a perl script needs to be started to do the parsing of every
HTML page there would be a big overhead.

I also don't think that there are enough people who would make use of
the pipe facility to modify pages. Most people seem to run their
WWWOFFLE with the page modifications disabled. There is a Firefox
extension that can modify pages which might be an easier way to make
"small but urgent modifications" http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/.
