Optimal configuration for [Linux Opera 8.0 + wwwoffle-2.8c]

The recently-upgraded Linux Opera 8.0 still works with the previous
"proxy settings" for using in conjunction with WWWOFFLE.

But it now offers the following options - both disabled by default:

enable HTTP 1.1 for proxy; and
use proxy for local servers.

Is there a benefit to enabling them?
