[zebra 22919] Zebra, ospf, and application failover between datacenters

We've been forced to change our current setup of having one virtual IP for an application fail over between two remote sites via VERITAS Cluster Server, since the Networking team will no longer span subnets across datacenters. However, they state that they *will* fail over a small subnet between sites (so that it is only at one datacenter at any time), and suggested we advertise host routes from the hosts themselves that will inject the new route during a failover scenario. I asked what routing protocols they'd allow on the network, and they suggested ospf. I'd heard about "zebra" in the past and its ability to do ospf. However, I'm at a loss about how to configure it for such a setup. Is this something that anyone on this list has done before? I'm under a heavy time crunch to get it implemented (less than 2 weeks), so timely help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. ______________________________________________________ Mark E.
