[zebra 22994] Zebra Architecture

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me if zebra is a cycle accurate router simulator? How does zebra implement the routing table? Is it possible to modify the routing table architecture for example use TCAMs to implement routing table and study the performance and bandwidth gains. 

I will appreciate any comments.
