Hi David, Thanks for your e-mail. Actually I was getting so many LSAs from outside when I put my machiene into the network. However, sometime I need to get the routes also. So basically I'm trying to see if there is a passive mode as in RIP where it just listens to route updates. Yeah, I understand ur point, OSPF is not a distance vector one.
