I think you're running into fundamental design choices in OSPF. Areas must be fully synchronized. If this fundamental design is causing you a problem, you have a few choices: 1) Split the area. 2) Change routing protocols. 3) Live with it. I'm afraid I don't know of any other choice. However, I am rather puzzled why you are having this issue. What type of connection do you have to the network? How many LSAs are we talking about? Perhaps your problem is that your router is becoming the DR or BDR? DS
