I did a little more research, and I figured out what Zebra does when you
assign aliases to a loopback. It redistributes a Stub network into OSPF.
>From another host on the LAN, I do the following

I also think I found out what a FIB route. I believe it refers to a
Forwarding Information Base. It's similar to a routing table, but indicates
the local interface a router will shunt a packet out on it's way to a
destination (see RFC3222 for more details).
