[zebra 23063] zebra on 2.6 kernel

HI ,
I am trying to run zebra(+ripd) on linux 2.6 kernel .
the probelm is ripd is able to send out the packets out but not
recieving the packets .In this process i found out onething that rip_read
function
is not getting called at all. I suspect the thread_read_add is adding
rip_read function
to scheduling queue but its not fetching and running it . Can some one
suggest
me to resolve this?.
