I’d suggest you check the ownership of the path /var/run/quagga/

Make sure you have read/write permissions all the way through the path down
to the config file.

If you don’t have the correct permissions, check the zebra.conf file, and
set the PID file to be stored elsewhere.

Hiiii

I configuring zebra pre-installed on solaris 10 x86, I create a basic
zebra.conf, but can’t start zebra, the log is:

fork failed Not owner
Can't create pid lock file /var/run/quagga/zebra.pif

The path of zebra is

/etc/sfw/zebra/zebra.conf
/usr/sbin/zebra 

Any help please ??
