Hi,

I just noticed that beside the ZCIP package in Debian (which is based on
ZCIP), there is also a Zeroconf package, which is based on Arthur van
Hoff's implementation of ZCIP. (it's currently only available in
unstable, not in testing yet).

I'm not sure if there is any Debian experience on this list. Has anyone
looked into it? Or has there been a comparision with all three
open-source IPv4 link-local implementations (I couldn't find Apple's
implementation at first, but Stuart told me that it is in the bootp
package of Darwin; but some other functionality concerning the selection
of the default interface is also in the configd (or configd_plugins? I
forgot) package of Darwin.

Regards,
Freek
