I am now writing an IPv6 LLMNR responder daemon < http://sourceforge.net/projects/xllmnrd/> for Windows clients can get the IPv6 address of a server on the same local network. It does now only works with the Linux kernel but I hope it can be ported to other operating systems if I can get help from experts on other OSs. In addition, I also registered nss_llmnr < http://sourceforge.net/projects/nss-llmnr/> and wsdiscoveryd < http://sourceforge.net/projects/wsdiscoveryd/> for future works. The former will enable GNU/LInux hosts to get the IP addresses of Windows hosts on the local network without using DNS, and the latter will enable non-Windows servers such as Samba to appear instantly on Windows Explorer on Vista and later. Are you interested in making such programs? --20cf303e9fdccb850c04f3bffe7a Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div><div>I am not sure if this is the right place to join= , but I would like some feedbacks.=A0 I am now writing an IPv6 LLMNR respon= der daemon <<a href=3D"http://sourceforge.net/projects/xllmnrd/">http://= sourceforge.net/projects/xllmnrd/</a>> for Windows clients can get the I= Pv6 address of a server on the same local network.=A0 It does now only work= s with the Linux kernel but I hope it can be ported to other operating syst= ems if I can get help from experts on other OSs.<br> <br></div>In addition, I also registered nss_llmnr <<a href=3D"http://so= urceforge.net/projects/nss-llmnr/">http://sourceforge.net/projects/nss-llmn= r/</a>> and wsdiscoveryd <<a href=3D"http://sourceforge.net/projects/= wsdiscoveryd/">http://sourceforge.net/projects/wsdiscoveryd/</a>> for fu= ture works.=A0 The former will enable GNU/LInux hosts to get the IP address= es of Windows hosts on the local network without using DNS, and the latter = will enable non-Windows servers such as Samba to appear instantly on Window= s Explorer on Vista and later.<br> <br></div>Are you interested in making such programs?<br></div> --20cf303e9fdccb850c04f3bffe7a-- --===============3572294429389346513== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Subversion Kills Productivity.
