I am not sure if this is the right place to join, but I would like some
feedbacks. I am now writing an IPv6 LLMNR responder daemon <
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xllmnrd/> for Windows clients can get the
IPv6 address of a server on the same local network. It does now only works
with the Linux kernel but I hope it can be ported to other operating
systems if I can get help from experts on other OSs.

In addition, I also registered nss_llmnr <
http://sourceforge.net/projects/nss-llmnr/> and wsdiscoveryd <
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wsdiscoveryd/> for future works. The
former will enable GNU/LInux hosts to get the IP addresses of Windows hosts
on the local network without using DNS, and the latter will enable
non-Windows servers such as Samba to appear instantly on Windows Explorer
on Vista and later.

Are you interested in making such programs?
