It is probably best to generate the patches from the CVS archive checkout (cvs diff -Naur), and post them to the list if they are reasonably short - say less than 10Kbytes. Otherwise make them available somewhere and post a link to the list. In the longer term, you might like to become more involved in development and maintenance - we can always use more help.
