I fully agree. The net is becoming more and more important to organisations, 
and for some organisations being independent of an ISP and having control 
over the routing of their address space is a requirement. But we also have 
to make sure that the routing keeps working, otherwise everybody loses.

Because of the size of the global routing table, we have to be careful with 
handing out address space for now. In the long term, I don't think we can 
keep refusing to give address space to organisations. That means that a 
better (routing? id/locator split? shim6?) system has to be developed. But I 
think discussing that is better done on the RAM
