Subject: War Times Is Back! 2 New Flyers Available!

War Times/Tiempo de Guerras is back! But we are changing our shape.

As we wrote you last fall, after nearly three years and 19 issues of
producing the tabloid newspaper, changing political circumstances and
declining resources forced us unhappily to suspend publication. You can
read our evaluation of the project at the War Times website.

Ever since we suspended publication, we've been hearing from people that
they missed the paper. We can't bring the tabloid back to life. But we
have launched a project we believe we can sustain: the War Times/Tiempo de
Guerras website at http://www.war-times.org/ will periodically post
downloadable flyers in PDF format, in both English and Spanish, for use by
anti-war groups needing ready-made materials.

We are pleased to announce our first two flyers are now available:

*Be All You Can Be: Don't Enlist -- lets young people know what the U.S.
Armed Forces really want from them

*Iraq: "Stay the Course" or Get Out Now?  -- addresses the concerns that
keep many people from translating their belief that invading Iraq was
wrong into active opposition to the continuing U.S. occupation

ways, we encourage you to contact United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ)
http://unitedforpeace.org the national coalition of over 1000 groups
working to end the U.S. war on Iraq and other imperial adventures. War
Times/Tiempo de Guerras has served on UFPJ's steering committee since its
founding.
