Well, when you put it that way... 

It looks like curiosity has won out over laziness and other such
excuses - I'm going to take a swing at this one over the next couple
of days.

I know Jon has started trying to install the below patch (which sounds
like it has been bumpy, so far, but we'll see).  I'd say go ahead with
that if you are still interested - I for one would like to see how
well it works (and how easy it is to install, for that matter). 

I should have something by the end of the week to play with/look at.

I have in mind something that will allow a bit more control over what
goes on the homepage, rather than a straight repro of the list
postings - so, If we wanted, we could pick and choose what posts made
it to the home page. 

The idea is, however, to have the list available in it's entirety as
an rss feed in any case...
