ANARCHIST BOOKFAIR

The Montreal Anarchist Bookfair is the largest anarchist cultural
gathering in northeastern North America, and an important exchange of
anarchist and anti-authoritarian ideas.

The Bookfair is for anarchist and non-anarchists alike, in English, French
and Spanish, with over 50 booksellers and groups from all over North
America and beyond.

Anarchist Bookfair events include workshops, readings, films,
presentations, walking tours and much more. Once again, the Anarchist
Bookfair will be followed -- on Sunday, May 16 -- by a full day dedicated
to anarchist-themed workshops and presentations. As in the past, a
"Festival of Anarchy" will take place during the weeks preceeding the
Bookfair, with diverse events organized by anarchists and
anti-authoritarian groups.


--> WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS AT THE BOOKFAIR

For the bookfair day -- Saturday, May 15 -- we are looking for workshops
that introduce anarchist ideas and principles, or other accessible topics
relevant to anarchism. Sunday, May 16 will be a full day of workshops
relating to anarchism, including debate, theory, hands-on and practical
workshops, art, history and much more.

If you have a workshop proposal, please contact the bookfair collective by
no later than MARCH 1, 2004.  Please include a title, a one-to-two
paragraph description, and any other relevant information for our
consideration.

We are also seeking other activities at the Bookfair: street theater, art
exhibits, performances, puppet shows, a soccer tournament ... you name it.
If you want to propose something, please get in touch ASAP.


--> FESTIVAL OF ANARCHY

We are also inviting anarchists and anti-authoritarian groups to organize
events for the Festival of Anarchy during the weeks preceeding the
Bookfair. The bookfair collective coordinates the schedule of the
festival. Once events are accepted, they are autonomous and are
bottom-lined by the organizing groups or individuals.

If you have a proposal for the Festival of Anarchy, contact the Bookfair
collective by no later than MARCH 15, 2004.


--> BOOKFAIR TABLES

If you are a vendor or a group that would like to have a table at the
Bookfair, please send your table request to us by no later than APRIL 1,
2004.
