I understand Nick's frustration over a slight story and the exchanges that followed, but...what a member wants to post, a member should post. This is a largely serious place, with a few choice between boys insults sprinkled in between. I'd like to think we'll remember the Gilles d'Aymery discussion long after the bulldog story passes through, but it's hard to say in which direction a discussion will continue. As for being a site full of forwarded links, mostly true. The community is plugged into so many different issues, a single person, in my opinion, cannot hope to keep up with the information available. So we share links, comments, articles, etc., to try to keep each other up to date, maybe make them (whoever they are) care about the same shit we care about. Another reason not to heavily discourage postings is the silent bh'ers and newbies.
