Isn't this old hat--I believe the *world* knew of the Iraq war plans in
November.  Some big secret, thanks Bob.  It's relatively easy to find a
Sunday story on Iraq war plans from early December, 2001 in the Observer:

Shit, the "Inspections" issue was already being pushed back on to the
table soon after 9/11.  Scott Ritter predicted Iraq to be the next Vietnam
in a UPI report on December 8, 2001.  The same article tells of members of
congress calling for blood in Iraq.

Sometimes, I wonder whether something is news or just a book
advertisement.
