Whoever answers email at online-DGbAdByC/[email protected] 1) top posts, 2) doesn't know where
the shift key is and 3) is full of insights into the nature of fairness at
C-SPAN. I've corrected 2 in order to present the conversation in a less
Jeopardy-like format.

It would be really great if everyone on the list took a turn emailing
online-DGbAdByC/[email protected] and let the rest of us know how it goes.

D: Why did you remove the list of most watched videos from c-span.org?

C: in order to have a more influential editorial hand in the video that
appears on the homepage in the name of fairness, relevance and interest. thanks

D: Will the list be available outside the homepage?

C: no. it has been removed in entirety.

D: Well that doesn't exactly fit with the rationale of influencing the
homepage. I think it's a shame that such a feature has been discarded. I
like to know what my fellow citizens are watching. To me this is an
infinitely more valuable "editorial hand" than what the big wigs at C-SPAN
think is relevant. And besides, why not have the list somewhere else if not
on the homepage. That would seem "fair" to me.

C: your position is noted and will be passed on to our big wigs. thanks for
the response.

D: Thanks. I believe I will try to get in touch with a few of them myself.
Could you tell your name so I can mention how helpful you've been in
explaining the rationale of dropping this feature in the name of fairness.
