Great.  Our Governor & senior Senator out showing their support for the
corporate-military complex.  I wish I had known this earlier to organize
protest.  I'm going to see if I can't encourage some protest in the
neighborhood. I hope you can all encourage your fiends to go down to the
GD building on Lakeside Ave. (off Pine St. behind the city garage)and
register their protest for our elected officials (including the
"anti-war" Leahy) supporting these makers of killing technology.

Not sure how close anyone can get, and I'm on the clock as a UVM Alumni
Relations employee, so it will be difficult for me to be there to protest
(I'm under a strict agreement to keep politics out of the office).

This would be a great kick-off to the Bring the Troops Home Now! rally on
Saturday.

Subject: No Visitors to Innovation Center tomorrow after 10 AM

General Dynamics is holding the grand opening of their new R/D facility
tomorrow.  Special guests include Governor Douglas, Adjutant General
Rainville and Senator Leahy.  Therefore security at the Innovation Center
will be very tight tomorrow.

If you need to visit the Innovation Center tomorrow you will need to park
in the south lot and then check-in with security at the front of the
building.  They will contact us and then issue you a guest badge so that
you can be admitted to the building.

Those of us here at the IC hold access cards which enable us to enter the
locked doors.  In addition, we have all been issued badges.

In short, if you need to meet with someone from the IC or retrieve
something from the storage room it would be best to do it today.
Tomorrow we're under lock-down.
