I read Still Life a couple years back -- maybe it deserves another read on my part. Maybe that acid reflex will subside the second time around. Sorry, that's not a very intelligent critical analysis of the guy's work, but he turns me off in the way that jehovah's witnesses turn me off. Keep your mysticism off my body. But I have no problem making this the next book club selection. In fact, I'm encouraged to use this book since I dislike it so strongly; I'm tired of exerting so much control of the zine content. On the other hand, I've read it, you're reading it, I know Adam has read it, and I believe Jessie has too. If everyone has read it, I don't see why we should select it. Comments?
