I came back from lunch, and two things were in my inbox - this email and one from my Mom about "supporting our troops fighting for freedom in Iraq." 

So I sent her this one, and I encourage anyone whose family/friends are all about "supporting/praying for our troops" to do the same: It's an opportunity for them to say, "hey asshole, don't you support our troops?" and you can all say, "Yeah, so much so I want them home." And then you can say, "Hey asshole, don't you support not killing innocent civilians by the tens of thousands?" 

I plan on doing so in the next 10 minutes or so.

On a completely different note, any guesses as to whether a democratic candidate for President might say something about the number of civvie deaths? I mean, besides the ones who have been saying it all along (Kucinich, Sharpton, et al).
