My 2 cents worth on Ron's observations;

oil. The tank is now plumbed to a plastic tote for distribution. The
metal tank has screens to filter the oil. These screens will have to

are about an 1” and can get clogged if solids get through the screening

Kevin had suggested tossing a tarp over the tank

need to keep this tank dry, so the tarp seems like the way to go.

- The processors are being insulated with household fiberglass
insulation. This material might be problematic in the future. Didn't we
have some other material in mind for insulating? Plus, the fiberglass
fibers have a tendency to get in the air.

We talked about using R-Max or some sort of rigid
foam insulation. Fiberglass will be a mess in a very little time. We
need to use the rigid material we origianlly talked about. Greg R was
going to bring some nylon banding to hold it in place while latex caulk
dried. Let's go with what we discussed.

- We need new seals for the processor lids.

- Are there any objections to separating the plumbing on the
processors to make them independent of each other? The original idea
was to make 100 gallons at a time. Our present resources are limited to
50 gallons of preheated wvo, therefore our limit for each processing.

We have discussed this before - we intend to make
a single batch in each reactor since we can only make enough methoxide
for one 50 gal batch. All the processors will be plumbed independently
so if one is down, the rest are still functional.

- An inline heater for the wash tank has been installed. It is in
the experimental stage.

Per Zac's comments, this worked great! Good move guys!

- The micron sock fuel filter needs some thought and action on
how and where to mount it.

We probably want to locate it in the pipe between the dryer and the
distribution tote. We will also need a water separator on the outlet
of the fuel tote - this should be less than $100.

- There is 50 gallons of mayonaise being preheated in the conex
to evaporate the water. This mayo is really nice. Flows like milk.
Shall we go ahead and process all or some of this 50 gallons? When the
seals are installed in the lids, and insulation of the processors is
finished, we can continue making fuel.

Reprosessing the mayo should be a priority, but secondary to making
sure fuel is coming down the line. After the water is separated from
the mayo, it can be reprosessed with WVO. Note that the water won't
evaporate, it will settle to the bottle of the water heater and will
need to be drained off, as is done with raw WVO before processing.s
