update on work this weekend

I'm not sure where Ron left things, but Saturday we decided to make a  
test batch of fuel on the table top. It was his idea to make a small  
test batch to see whether our current ingredients are okay, rather  
than waste 50 gallons. We reacted a liter of oil with methanol and  
let it settle to determine whether it would make good fuel.

We will perform a 3/27 test on it this week. This test involves  
adding a small amount of the reacted fuel to a larger amount of  
methanol. If the fuel totally dissolves in the methanol with no oil  
droplets precipitating out, it is a sign that the reaction was good  
and our ingredients are good. If it passes, we will proceed to a full  
50 gallon batch. If it doesn't pass (we see precipitation or other  
weirdness) we will determine why it failed and make adjustments.

Ron, feel free to add any other details. I plan on going down to the  
site some evening this week to take a peak at our test.
