Re: compressor

I have personel expierence with vacuum systems, so:

I believe that any system that would noticeably affect
the outgassig point of wate entrained in oil would
require a vacuum pump capable of 10<-4> torr as a
minumum. If people think fluid pumps are pricey, hold
onto your trousers, 3 years ago I had to pay $400.00
to have my pump SERVICED!

Cost benefit for vacuum removal of water, while
technicaly feasable, is basicly zero. Vacuum systems
are hideously expensive, fussy to the extreme, and
require constant maintanance.
