I checked t= he price for a housing and filter : $700+ range. We really need to have = the process nailed to get into something like that. I still have the ove= rsized 100 7 200 micron filters and the filter with the end cut off. I = think we can combine the cut off filter with one of the mesh bags to test= with. I await your bubble T test results - I am afraid we got carried away with= the oil transfer last week. I think we need to decant the top 80% off al= l the jugs into the consolidation tote to insure we have good oil to reac= t. Once we are making a solid 50 -100 gallons a week, we could blend a l= ittle bottom oil in to use it up..... it would be good to have a dedicate= d coop member work on dewatering bottom oil - I think it will need to be = heated and filtered, then perhaps boiled and refiltered. I also think we need to get the giant water heater on line (even with 110= V elements) as soon as possible. I think we have part of a tote we could= use as a containment for it. With 120 gallons of hot oil, we could drai= n 20 gallons and still make 2 batches in one day.
