If it won't turn over and gauges go to zero when you turn the key it is most likely either a starter or battery problem or some other electrical issue. It sounds like a dead battery. That can be caused by a charging system problem or something as simply as dirty battery cables or a light left on (Those pesky dome lights can pull a weak battery down to nothing in a day). From: "Jeanette McMahon" <[email protected]> Subject: [pdx-biodiesel] Hello to PDX-Biodiesel - question regarding diesel mechanic Hiya - I'm someone hoping to become a member soon. I am having problems with my Ford F250 - I think it may be a glow plug issue, because the truck won't turn over and the oil pressure gauge drops to nothing when I turn the key, even though I recently had an oil and air filter change. I know of someone in Vancouver who could work on the truck, but I'd like to find someone closer. Does anyone have a mechanic they could refer me to? I live in NE Portland near Mt. Tabor. I'd appreciate it! Thanks - Jeanette
