Well you can always take it to Sunderland Yard. They have a 20 acre recycling facility owned and operated by the city's Bureau of Maintenance. They recycle something on the order of 250,000 yards per year. All of the material is either reused in city maintenance projects or sold to the general public. You can take your concrete there for only $1 per ton (12 yards = 16 tons). The Sunderland facility has become increasingly important since rising fuel costs directly impact the cost of concrete. However, the city expects a net savings of more than $12 million in the 2005-2006 fiscal year from the Sunderland facility's operations. They also have a 10kW wind turbine!
