RE: Lola's Room Event

I'll be happy to donate a couple of things for the auction. I will check
what I have for pottery, and I would donate a cake to be made at the
winner's and my mutual convenience. I guess I can bring some cakes to
taste so people know what they are bidding on - not to be haughty about
it, but I have been told my cakes compete with those of the best
bakeries in Portland.

By the way, what time is the event scheduled for? I have a baby shower I
promised to go to - not sure exactly when that would be but presumably
early afternoon, and I am assuming the BD party is in the evening, so I
could go to both...

Greetings Everyone -

The FUN(D)raising group is humbly putting out the word that we could use
your help!  We want to make the NOVEMEBER 11th GoBiodiesel Bash at
Lola's Room a really fun and successful event.  This is what we need:

1) any DJ CONNECTIONS who would want to help out the co-op by donating
their services for the evening
2) any AUCTION ITEMS that we can include in our Silent Auction - a fine
bottle of wine; surfing/cooking/knitting
or whatever lessons; concert tix; the offer of some kind of services -
computer, website, accounting, housecleaning, painting, handyman, etc.;
yard work; some homemade wares like a basket of some jellies, salsas,
muffins, whatever; help with a party or celebration; loan of a cabin for
a night or two; ETC.
3) a few people who want to earn some carma hours by JOINING THE
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE and helping to pull off this event 
4) people to SHOW UP AND HAVE FUN - it would be helpful to know that
most of our membership is planning on attending, and hopefully bringing
a few family/friends/co-workers along for the party

list, if you have anything to offer or want to be more directly
involved.  This is a really great opportunity to reconnect with each
other and have some good ole fun!
