Which fuel lines are you talking about, the fuel return line, the PVC
lines between the filter and injection pump, the 'cigar' hose that
returns fuel to the tank or the rubber lines coming from the tank at
the rear of the car?

The PVC lines usually get brittle but don't usually weep. The first
lines that usually go are the fuel return lines from the injectors.
For about $5 at Discount Import Parts in Tigard or Portland you can
replace them. You'll need about 4ft, of course the new ones will also
degrade, but it takes almost a year of continuous B99.

If yours are seeping after only two fills, then you lines were
probably shot in the first place, so it was time anyways.

If you see little black stuff in your prefilter then you probably have
a problem with the hoses at the tank in your trunk. These are a pain
to get to because they lead to the top. I haven't done this yet to my
vehicles. If anyone has done this before, please let us know.

I do know that Seth at the Co-op had to drop the tank in his 300D
because the in-tank filter got clogged.
