I have a Rabbit for $2100 here's the details let me know if you're interested and want photos It's a tan 4-door '81 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel L with 108k miles on it It runs great. No mechanical issues at all. Cold starts well, with barely any smoke, and when it's warm it fires up like a new gas engine. I just got it a month ago and have driven it less than 500 miles but then got a different car. Since I got it this is what's been done: -brakes adjusted -some fuel lines replaced -new vacuum brake -clutch adjusted -new tires and wheels (with hubcaps) -new master cylinder -new timing belt -oil change I also put a new injection pump that was rebuilt with viton seals, so it's great for biodiesel or SVO. It has some rust holes on the hatch and driver's side doors. I got a new hatch, but haven't put it on yet. I was going to get new doors and then repaint it. I have found a couple people to get doors from already. I can give you their contact info. The interior is pretty good. The backseat is good. The front seats are worn, but have good seat covers on them. The cloth on the roof is missing. Dash is good. The lights and electrical stuff is all good. The lenses on the reverse lights are missing. No stereo. Washington plates, tags are expired. I'm sure it won't have any problems passing DEQ.
