I have a 40 passenger school bus and an 06' VW New beetle and I run B100 9
months out of the year and a mixture from late November through February.
I have not tried the various winterizing agents and additives as of yet.

I had some fuel filter problems when I first started running bio in the
bus because it ran on straight diesel for many years. Once I changed the
fuel filters a couple of times (after all the old crud came out) I have
not had any problems with the bus or with my beetle.

One thing to consider with a VW is that they won't honor your warranty as
it relates to the fuel system if you tell them you are running anything
over B5. My friend had to replace his fuel pump and VW would not pay for
it because they said it was damaged by the bio. It was extremely spendy.

But then if you ever have a fuel related problem, just drain out the bio
and replace it with regular diesel and claim ignorance!
