I have driven an '05 Jetta TDI Wagon for the last 2 years, have
always used some blend of BioD and am currently committed to B99 from
Jay's Garage. Never had any problems with the car, keep it in the
garage when the weather turns chilly, no gelling problems. I switch
to B20 when I'm going to take it in for its routine service at the
dealership (for those who say they can smell the difference), and
make sure I've taken off my BD bumpersticker, just in case there
would ever be any fuel issues that arise. I agree with Steve
regarding claiming ignorance. I've never had any problems at all,
love the BD, love my car... I routinely get over 40 mpg, even city
driving. My husband is looking into a diesel for his next car, and
our kids are constantly pointing out other BD cars and stickers. It's
a great teaching tool, in that way.
