What's involved in putting in a band heater? I ask because at some point
I'm going to convert my vanagon to diesel, and may also (assuming I'm rich
at that point) throw in the WVO/SVO conversion too (likely use the Frybrid
one for comprehensiveness) - are there any fire hazards, special space
requirements on the average VW/otherwise? I'd think I'd have plenty of
space in the van but my TDI beetle is sitting in the driveway, covered in
snow and likely 'solidified' at the moment until it warms up (I put in the
Amsoil additive on a new tank of B99 before it began getting cold earlier
this week, but haven't driven since)....thoughts?
