I used the Neoteric in line 12v heater system and I have had minimal problems with it (http://www.plantdrive.com/). In the past I used an old ice chest I got from a thrift store and drilled in/out holes and placed fittings in them. Right now I am using a 5 gallon metal fuel can (army surplus) with detachable air hose fittings- I like it but the 5 gallon capacity is a problem. I am going back to an ice chest soon. I personally do not recommend using radiator fluid. In my opinion it takes too long for it to get hot. In my experience the thing which takes the longest is figuring out where to put the second tank and where/how to run the fuel lines. The actual installation can be done in a weekend. Good luck. Are there any welders who can do an affordable custom tank in the PDX area? 2. Where is a good location to find coolant and fuel lines? 3. What have people used for effective in tank heaters? Thanks for your help.
