Ian, The appleseed is the homebrewers ol'standby. It's construction and use are heavily documented on the web. B100supply.com & Utah biodiesel have info and parts. I think you can buy a kit for about $400. We all know fuelmiester is a joke, and anything else I have seen starts at $13k! Of course the first thing to do is to buy girlMark's book. Have you contacted the St. Louis BD coop? I know Maud Essen is a member - she is a moderator on the Yahoo Biodieselbasics list. She is doing a lot of work with methanol recovery - right up your alley!
