Howdy howdy bio-brewers,

Hope you all had a good Earth Day! The celebration out here in St. Louis
was pretty big - I don't think I've ever seen so many people at an Earth Day
celebration. Anyway, it seems to have stirred up interest within the local
biodiesel community, and people have been talking about starting a co-op out
here. There are plenty of folks brewing on their own, and even a loose Yahoo
Group for brewers. But so far, no one has had the gumption to begin the
risky task of a co-operative venture.
I'm writing to ask if anyone in GoBiodiesel would be interested in acting
as a sort of liason or consultant for us out here in St. Louis while we
begin to explore our possibilities. We will be having our first exploratory
meeting this weekend, just to talk about group brewing, and then next month
we will meet to talk about a possible co-op.
If anyone out there in Portland has any suggestions on books, legal
resources, tips of the trade, or other help - I would very much appreciate
the input. I'm looking way ahead to the horizon, but there might be a
possibility for a paid general-manager position at some point... if anyone
is thinking about relocating to the Midwest.
(And hey, Brian, is that book done yet? Maybe we could get a copy of the
manuscript? *wink wink, nudge nudge*)

take care everyone, keep brewin' that bio!

 - Ian
