Mileage problem

Have a question that I hope you can answer for me, my husband drives a ford f250 diesel pick up, the bio diesel he has been buying from the stations (all he can get, can't get the regular diesel) has made his mileage go way down, any one know how to improve his mileage or where he can get the "normal" diesel?.
