in another list I am on someone posted the following, which might be useful for us

The Portland Public Library has a very nice meeting room just off 
their lobby. You can reserve it (in fact you must, usually well in 
advance) and use it for free. The one caveat is that the meeting 
must be open to the public. I expect that there are similar rooms in 
the Beaverton Public Library and most of the branch libraries around 
town as well.
