Guess what people, we're actually on schedule!

On March 1st we got our waterless wash system working and started
cranking out fuel that we collected from the co-op site. We cleaned up
around 100 gallons of fuel and started testing for residual catalyst,
water content, free glycerol, reaction completion and all came up
good!

Next came road testing in various vehicles;

1987 Mercedes 300TD, OM603 3.0L Turbo-Diesel
1995 Mercedes E300D, OM606 3.0L Diesel
1999 Mercedes E300DT, OM606 3.0L Turbo-Diesel
2003 Dodge Ram 3500, 5.9L 24V Turbo-Diesel
2002 Volkswagen Golf, 1.9L Turbo-Diesel

We have had no reported problems and some of our testers have even
seen mileage increases and quieter startups compared to the commercial
winter grade canola we have been selling over the winter (This was
surprising to me).

We have yet to test the gel point of the fuel, although I guess that
it's around 34-36F based on previous observations during the last
couple of months.

We haven't cleaned up all of the fuel yet, although we are chugging away.

So if you are an ex-coop member and would like to get some of this
wonderful fuel please contact me to make arrangements for pickup.

Tom was the first ex-coop member to take advantage of this offer and
is now struting around town in his 2.4L Toyota pickup with some
terrific 100% local biofuel!

At this time we can only offer up around 20-30 gallons per customer.
If you require more, please let me know and we can estimate a date as
to when it would be ready. At this time I just want to see some people
get a tank and start trying it out!

Once again this offer is only available to ex-coop members.

The price is $2.49/gal full-tax, $2.01/gal off-road.

Off-road fuel will be dyed very very red, no funny business please.

When we get through the co-op fuel we will start on the 5000 gallons
that we made over the winter. This fuel is a true example local
sustainability, a biodiesel of the people!

The fuel was made from all of the oil that people have been bringing
us since November. It was produced from a combination of chicken fat,
soybean oil, canola oil, rice bran oil, turkey fat, 30 gallons of BBQ
grease trap drippings and a little bit of peanut oil.

We will be selling this fuel for $3.49/gal full-tax to anyone who wants it!

Email is the best way to contact me, although you can call me at 503-317-4564.
