NM CHL Refresher and Renewal Classes

In addition to the NM Initial CHL class, we will begin offering refresher
and renewal classes at the LASC on August 4, 2007. We have several
different instructors that have been authorized by New Mexico to teach these
classes. We will coordinate as necessary to support LASC membership.
Refresher Class
By rule in New Mexico, a CHL licensee must complete a two hour refresher
course two years after issuance of an initial or renewal license. This
course includes range qualification with the approved caliber of handgun and
may include a brief block of classroom instruction for legal updates, safe
storage of handguns and child safety. This course is offered on the first
Saturday of each Month at the Los Alamos Sportsman's Club beginning at 8:00
AM. The cost is $25.
Renewal Class
By rule in New Mexico, a CHL licensee must complete a four hour renewal
course within 4 years of issuance of an initial license. This course is
offered on the first Saturday of each Month in conjunction with the IDPA
match at the Los Alamos Sportsman's Club beginning at 8:00 AM. The cost is
$45.
