LASC Membership Surcharge...

Just a short note to say that I am gladly paying the LASC membership 
surcharge this year. Given the wide range of facilities and activities 
available via LASC, I believe we still have the finest club in northern 
NM, short of Whittington Center. 

Where else could folks in the general areas Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and 
Taos go within a reasonable distance (especially at these gas prices!) 
to have as good or better facilities and activities for individuals and 
entire families? 

I don't know of any...and, if someone else does, please let me know.

Bottom line - in my opinion for what we get, the membership fees -- 
even with the surcharge -- are a bargain.
