Considering Additional Types of Classes...

Hello, Members...

I've been getting inquiries from some members asking if I would
consider teaching other types of firearm classes.

To that end, I am considering putting together a defensive handgun
class and a defensive shotgun class for LASC members only. The
handgun class would be intended for intermediate shooters and above.
It would build on the concepts learned in the concealed carry class,
with more practical aspects such as shooting on the move, shooting
from cover after moving, increased stress, etc..

The shotgun class would concentrate on the same principles, including
jam clearing, transition to pistol, etc. Shotguns would be limited to
12-ga "defensive" models such as the Remington 870 police model or
the H&K Super 90.

I have some ideas for curriculum, class duration, etc., but, wanted
to gauge member interest before I went further.

Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] to let me know your
thoughts.

Thanks!

Michael
