Thanks and Well Done to all who participated in our Clean-up Day

I would like to extend the club and the board's thanks to all who 
participated in the fire mitigation/clean-up day today.  The turn-out 
was fantastic, and we really took a step forward with the fire 
mitigation.  We have some firewood piles to move (hopefully get 
hauled off by members), and several chip piles that will be moved 
this week, but the fuel removal and weed mowing hit our high priority 
locations.  We will be chipping the fuel piles on the road tomorrow 
(Sunday) afternoon, so if you want to help with this, show up about 
3:30, when Kevin "Chipper" Buescher starts his 6" chipper again.

There were so many heroes today that I don't want to start down the 
list because I'll miss two thirds of them, but I really want to 
extend the club's thanks to Chris and Mary Luster.  Chris brought a 
front loader and did a great job with it, and then Mary and Chris 
grilled the best hamburgers ever for the hungry hordes.

I plan to have the fire marshal review our work during the next week, 
and will report his comments after that review.
