Well the first Saturday of the month is almost here. We are going to be having the IDPA Match on 07 October. Set up will be at the winter hours of 9 am. Shooting will start when set up is complete and the safety briefing is done for the new shooters. I am planning on having at least 4 stages and maybe more. So bring at least 125 rounds of ammo. This will cover one run through 6 stages at the maximum round count of 18 rounds per stage. We have received and stored 300 new targets and 80 more target holding sticks for IDPA and IPSC matches for the pistol Section. If you plan on attending, either as a shooter or a competitor, YOU WILL NEED the following: Eye and ear protection (shooter or spectator) A good concealment Holster (For shooters) I try and bring few extra holsters, but currently mine are spoken for unless you are shooting a 1911 style 45. A concealment garment. (I normally use an old shirt that will provide the required concealment. If you have any questions about what this means, contact me: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> or [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ) Our Range officers are always willing to help with new shooters and this is good practice for Concealed Carry and for Law Enforcement Officers. Hope to see you at the range on Saturday. Robert Toner Pistol Section Chair
