NRA Basic Pistol Class

The LASC is presenting the NRA Basic Pistol Class in November.  This is an excellent introductory course for new pistol shooters as well as individuals getting ready to take a CCW class.  Here is the information:

Description:  This is the NRA Basic Pistol Course.  This is a ten hour NRA qualification course.  The goal of this course is to teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.  There are no prerequisites for this course.  The following topics will be presented:
Pistol Knowledge and Safe Handling
Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
Firing the First Shots
Two-handed and One-handed Standing Shooting Positions
Pistol Sports and Activities
