FYI on new anti-gun legislation

With the new Congress, several anti-gun groups are now making huge 
pushes to their members, asking them to contact their Congressional 
members and push for massive gun controls.  There are mailings and 
massive e-mail bundles now getting to not only anti-gun group members, 
but also to "peace" groups here in America and internationally.  They 
are tapping into the anti-war sentiments, and have gotten several major 
peace groups to support large gun control measures, such as limiting 
ownership to only law enforcement and those deemed "OK" to have guns 
(but not the common US citizen).  They are also pushing some measures 
again through the United Nations side groups to get the UN started on 
its push against any liberal US gun laws, and ultimately to take guns 
from all citizens.

Perhaps the gun owners and people who believe in gun rights need to do 
the same contacts with Congressional members, but pushing for the 
opposite against these anti-gun measures and legislations.
