M1 for Vets Garand Match this Sunday

This Sunday, the 15th, we will be sponsoring LASC's First "M1's for 
Vets" Garand Match.  The match flier is attached.

Signup will be from 8:00 to 8:30.  After that it will be our standard 
Garand Match format, with 50 rounds for record.

This is a CMP Sanctioned Match.  We will be issuing participation 
certificates (good for buying the M1 Carbine from the CMP) as well as 
medals to those individuals which achieve Bronze, Silver or Gold Medal Scores.

Bring any rifle you want to shoot--Mausers, AK-47's, SKS's, 
Springfields.  If you need a scope, that's fine.  Just come and shoot.

The weather forecast is for a high in the mid 60's with little 
wind.  It should be a great day for shooting.

Juniors participate at no cost.  They have no match fee and ammo is 
provided, free of charge.
